There is a particular kind of light in Lisbon. It softens against pale buildings, slips through narrow Alfama streets, and turns the city golden in the last hour of the day. It is a city made for photographs — and even more so, for the people in them.

I'm Flavia, a Lisbon-based photographer with a background in destination weddings across Portugal and Europe. Alongside weddings and elopements, I photograph couples sessions in Lisbon for travellers, locals, newly engaged couples, and anyone who simply wants beautiful images of themselves and the person they love.

These sessions are relaxed, unhurried, and shaped around you — never about stiff posing or tourist-snapshot energy. The goal is to create images that feel like you, set against one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

1. We start with a chat.

Once your session is booked, I send a detailed guide with colour palettes, outfit suggestions, and tips on what photographs beautifully in your chosen locations. No pressure to follow it strictly — it's just there to make the lead-up easier.

Tell me about the two of you, the kind of feeling you want the images to carry, and where you'd like to shoot. If you're not sure about locations, that's completely fine — I'll suggest places based on the mood you're after, the time of year, and the light.

3. The session itself, unhurried.

4. Your gallery, beautifully edited.

You will receive a preview within two days of your photoshoot. Your full edited gallery is delivered within 30 days in high resolution, ready to print and share. A short preview is sent within the first few days.

Most sessions run from 60 to 90 minutes, though longer sessions are available. We'll move through your chosen spots at an easy pace, with gentle guidance from me. You'll be surprised how quickly the camera disappears.
